Crypto industry insiders meet with several US senators to discuss the Market Structure Act
Jinse Finance reported that the cryptocurrency industry has once again held meetings with U.S. Senate lawmakers who are currently drafting market structure legislation. The legislation will re-enter the negotiation stage in January, marking the last significant opportunity this year for industry representatives to clarify their positions during the negotiations. Participants stated that this is the final chance to clarify positions for 2025, such as protections for software developers in DeFi. They noted that although no new consensus was reached, the discussions have laid the groundwork for negotiations in January next year.
