AMINA Bank Becomes First European Bank to Adopt Ripple Payments, Enabling 24/7 Real-Time Cross-Border Settlements with RLUSD
Ripple has partnered with AMINA Bank, a Swiss crypto bank, to deploy its end-to-end payment solution across Europe. The collaboration crowns AMINA as the first European bank to adopt Ripple Payments, delivering 24/7, real-time cross-border settlement without reliance on the traditional correspondent banking network.
By enabling parallel processing of fiat and stablecoins, Ripple Payments bridges Web3 with conventional finance, tightening settlement velocity for crypto-native clients. This rollout follows AMINA’s earlier milestone as the world’s first bank to support RLUSD custody and trading.
The partnership underscores a shift toward more efficient cross-border rails for crypto enterprises, with AMINA’s adoption of Ripple’s technology reducing friction and enhancing access to real-time settlement for a broader, global client base.
