Microsoft to invest $4 billion to build a second data center in Wisconsin
Jinse Finance reported that Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella announced on Thursday that the company will invest $4 billion to establish a second data center in southeastern Wisconsin, expanding its data center coverage. The facility, named Fairwater, is scheduled to have its first phase data center operational in early 2026 and will house hundreds of thousands of Nvidia (NVDA.O) GB200 chips.
