Analysis: Jack Dorsey's Decentralized Chat App Bitchat Has No Direct Connection to Bitcoin
According to Jinse Finance, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has announced the launch of a decentralized peer-to-peer chat application called Bitchat. Although the name is similar, Bitchat has no direct connection to Bitcoin. The name may be a tribute to cryptocurrency, as both technologies are decentralized and peer-to-peer, aiming to eliminate unnecessary intermediaries and return power to users.
