Nouns DAO invested $150,000 in the Baked Beans project which has never been launched, and the flow of funds is unknown
Three years ago, the Nouns community approved a proposal to invest 135 ETH (approximately $150,000 at the time) in a project called MOOØNBEANS. The plan was to produce and sell high-end baked beans using a recipe provided by Sublime Butter, a handmade butter company based in the UK. However, three years have passed and no canned baked beans have been produced from this project. It is also unknown where the $150,000 investment from Nouns DAO has ended up. Tony Ho, an executive of Sublime Butter stated that funds were never used for the company and that they had removed founder Chris Mair as director in July 2023 on charges of fraudulently using their brand for fundraising purposes.
