Trudeau officially resigns as Canadian Prime Minister
Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau officially submitted his resignation to Governor General Mary Simon on March 14th local time and will no longer serve as the Canadian Prime Minister. It is reported that Trudeau did not make a public appearance. The newly elected leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Mark Carney, will be sworn in as the 24th Prime Minister of Canada later that day. (CCTV News)
