The average Ethereum Gas fee has dropped by 95% in the year following the Dencun upgrade. On March 13, 2024, Ethereum's Dencun upgrade was launched, which combined the execution layer's Cancun upgrade and consensus layer's Deneb upgrade, introducing nine Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIP).
