U.S. media estimates that Trump has received more than half of the electoral votes, securing a victory for the 2024 presidential election
As of November 6 local time, the counting for the US presidential election is still underway. According to recent estimates published by multiple American media outlets including The Hill, Republican presidential candidate Trump is expected to secure more than half of the electoral votes and is projected to win this US presidential election. The US presidential election adopts an Electoral College system where each state allocates electoral votes based on its population size; winning at least 270 out of 538 electoral votes means victory.
