Boerse Stuttgart Digital Custody becomes Germany's first licensed crypto asset service provider under EU's MiCA
Boerse Stuttgart Digital Custody has become the first crypto asset service provider in Germany to receive a full license under the European Union's new Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). The license was granted by Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, BaFin, on January 17th. Boerse Stuttgart Group aims to become a regulated infrastructure provider for banks, brokers, and asset managers. The license approval comes after the implementation of Europe's MiCA, the world's first comprehensive regulatory crypto framework, which went into full effect for crypto-asset service providers on December 30th.
