Vitalik Buterin: Quantum Computing Will Eventually Crack ECDSA
On October 18, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ether, said in a post on the X platform, “There is no doubt that quantum computing is the biggest enabler. Whether we like it or not, External Accounts (EOA) are going to die out in the long-term future because quantum computing will eventually crack ECDSA.”
