SEBI CEO Madhabi PuriBuch stated that if traditional regulated markets cannot provide tokenization and instant settlement, Indian investors may turn to cryptocurrencies. In order to compete with cryptocurrencies, instant settlement is needed. If our well-regulated market cannot compete with the world of cryptocurrencies and we cannot provide tokenization and instant settlement for you in the medium term, then I would not even say that in the long run, you should expect investors to take action.
