Cryptocurrency analytics company Messari shared its predictions for the sector in 2026 in its new report. The report argues that 2025 will be an extremely polarizing year for the crypto industry, with the market offering completely different experiences for different actors. According to Messari, 2025 will be one of the strongest years in crypto history for Wall Street-based institutional investors, while it will stand out as a challenging period that falls short of expectations for individual investors and community-focused participants. The report states that Bitcoin has clearly diverged from all other crypto assets and solidified its position as the leading cryptocurrency. The relatively weak performance seen in the second half of 2025 was largely attributed to selling pressure from older, high-cap wallets. Messari predicts that this does not constitute a permanent or structural problem, and that Bitcoin’s monetary narrative will remain intact in the long term. Pointing to significant year-on-year declines in L1 revenues, Messari stated that current valuations are increasingly based on expectations of a “monetary premium.” With a few exceptions, L1 projects are expected to underperform Bitcoin in the coming period. Ethereum remains one of the most debated assets in the sector. While questions about its value accumulation haven’t completely disappeared, it’s argued that the market will begin pricing ETH as a “cryptocurrency” similar to Bitcoin in the second half of 2025. $ZEC is printing a clear double-bottom structure on the 1Hr chart. Both Bottom-1 and Bottom-2 defended the 371–375 zone, showing buyers are stepping in aggressively at lows. Price is now reclaiming the 400 region, which acts as a short-term decision zone. 🔹Strong demand seen near 370–375 🔹Higher low formed → momentum slowly shifting 🔹400–410 is the supply ceiling holding price back 📈 If 410 breaks & holds: Next expansion toward 430 → 450 becomes very realistic. 📉 If rejection happens: Expect a pullback toward 385–380, but structure remains valid as long as 370 holds. $ZEC TARGETING THE 412–415 ZONE AFTER HOLDING ABOVE 395 SUPPORT💥🔥 $ZEC is currently consolidating around the 399–400 area after a strong impulsive move from the lower 370s, showing clear signs of strength and acceptance above a key intraday support. Price action is forming a tight range just below resistance, indicating that buyers are still active and absorbing selling pressure. As long as ZEC holds above the 392–390 region, the structure remains bullish, and a continuation toward the 409–412 resistance zone is very much in play. A clean breakout and hold above this area can open the path for an extension toward the higher 415+ levels. On the other hand, if ZEC fails to break above the 409–412 supply zone and starts showing rejection, a short-term pullback could unfold. Loss of the 395–392 support would weaken the bullish structure and may push price back toward the 385–380 demand zone, where buyers are expected to step in again. Shorts are only favorable on a clear rejection from resistance with confirmation, while aggressive selling below support could accelerate downside momentum toward the lower range. Bias remains cautiously bullish above 392, but rejection near 412 can trigger a healthy pullback before the next move.

$ZEC has rebounded nicely from the 371 support, but price is now trading directly into a strong resistance zone between 400–411. On the daily timeframe, ZEC is still below major resistance and moving inside a broader corrective structure rather than a confirmed uptrend. The recent upside move shows slowing momentum, with price struggling to push above the 411 high, which has already acted as a clear rejection zone. This tells us sellers are still active overhead. On the 1H chart, price is holding up, but candles are compressing near resistance — a typical sign of exhaustion rather than continuation. Volume does not support a clean breakout yet, and without strong follow-through, this move looks more like a relief rally after a deep drop from higher levels. As long as ZEC stays below 418, risk favors a pullback toward lower support zones.
